"Enterprise Risk Management and the Value of Risk" - Interviewing Caoimhe Lynch - Director of Strategy for Qumas (www.qumas.com) - in this interview, Caoimhe and I discuss a wide range of topics, comparing the savvy and experience of financial services' organizations (for risk management) with the same in life sciences (for compliance management), and the idea of 'closed-loop' compliance and risk management, which (for me at least), has kicked off some more ideas in the innovation management world, which I'm going to unleash in the near future.

Caoimhe's background in e-Learning from a past life proved an interesting tangent that I believe we fully weaved back into the story - and as I'd said in the Clark Aldrich podcast several weeks back, there is definitely new interest brewing in e-Learning again, and in integration into other systems for 'just-in-time' learning.

As a longtime fan of Guy (great insights into Software Evangelism, startups, power networking, and attention capturing presentation styles, among other topics), I have to remind myself to jump over to his blog from time to time and catch up on what he's up to lately.

Emergence, evolution, maturity, automation, user-experience, agility, continuous improvement - these are all terms that we had *all* better get familiar with, not just in definition and theory, but in everyday working life if we are to not just survive, but thrive in the world!

Any commentary for Brent or myself, feel free to post here. Anyone using Touch Clarity or a similar system (commercial, homebrew, etc.)? I am certainly seeing an increase in "emergent systems" in marketing, search technologies, of course much of the Web 2.0 movement is about emergence out of publicly visible feedback/commentary, etc.. Anyone using such concepts INSIDE the enterprise? Let's hear it!
